I used Reason 4 to record, mix and edit, and Reaper to encode this version from Flac to mp3 The intro will no doubt remind you of the 'Enigma' sound, I found a great sounding synth that they must have used themselves and stuck with it. - cos I like it! 'Orientation' by Bob Cain Playing with my new M-Audio Oxygen 49 v3 and this happened in just under 8 hours obviously this is a very rough take, I still need to add some instrumentation to the sound and then spend a day or six - mixing! (update) - Feb 6th 2010 - Attempted a new mix, I say attempted as I currently have a sinus problem that is affecting my ears, in particular the left ear, so, if it sounds a bit out of kilter, you know why - Ha! Ha! |
