The Poyser's

grandadsrgtmajor

We have managed to trace my Mum's Dad's family, back to 1817, so far, I know there are more Brothers and Sisters to find, as I remember one of Grandads Brothers living in 'Cambourne' in Cornwall as I met him on a number of occasions.

This is my Nan's family tree, and it is becoming 'very interesting',  it goes back to 1665,  so far.

Nan's was a bit harder to trace, she never used to say much about her family, other than they had disapproved of her marrying Grandad, due to the fact that, she had been engaged to a soldier who died in the First World War.

In those days that was it for her, she should not have looked at another man.

Check out the Lambourne 'History' page for some  'Startling Facts'

My Wife Kerry has a knack for this kind of thing and is responsible for collating all the information we have located so far. My thanks to my cousin's Linda Robertson and Cathy Morgan for pointing us in the right direction and supplying some of the pictures.

Well done Kerry, Linda and Cathy

If anyone wants any copies or to be pointed in the right direction to check this, please e-mail me and we will get right on to it.
